• MKP Volumetric Image Registration:

The Registration Problem:

• Given two images, a template $\rho_0$ and a target $\rho_1$. Find a mapping $ \phi: \Omega \to \Omega,$ such that the deformed template $\phi(\rho_0)$ and the target $\rho_1$ become similar.


• In my recent work (with Russell and Williams), two registration methods have been developed based on solving the $L^2$ Monge-Katorovich Problem (MKP).
